Streaks’ Luke Emge chooses Harvard

Manheim Township’s senior quarterback knows where he will be playing football in the fall of 2018.

Luke Emge committed to play football for Harvard University over the weekend, as he will take his talents to Boston in 2018. Emge announced the move on Twitter.

The 6’1″ 200 pound Streaks’ rising senior couldn’t be happier. It was his first choice. He was fielding offers from Penn, Cornell, Bucknell, Yale and Princeton.

He will study pre-med with hopes of becoming an orhotopedic surgeon.

We wish him all the best.

Last year was his first year at Township. He transferred in from Fleetwood High School in Berks County.

He led the team to a 6-5 record. He completed 63% of his passes for 1592 yards and 14 TD’s. He also rushed for 552 years and 2 TDs.

Video highlights include some of his junior year performances.
