Manheim Central scored 10-unanswered points in the second half to pull away for a 17-7 win against Cocalico in what was called the “Game of the Week” in Section Two if not the Game of the Year. Two undefeated teams with the highest scoring in the league going at it.

Tyler Flick scored a third quarter touchdown and Niko Gavala added a 31-yard field goal in the fourth quarter after the teams traded first half touchdowns.
Jake Novak was on the receiving end of a 68-yard Evan Simon pass as the Barons took a 7-0 lead in the first before the Eagles answered with a 12-yard Noah Palm touchdown run in the second quarter.
Manheim Central (5-0, 2-0 in Section 2) held Cocalico (4-1, 1-1) in the second half thanks to a pair of fourth down stops after the Eagles were 3-for-3 in that category in the first half.
Central’s Tyler Flick ran for 107 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown.
Cocalico’s Noah Palm ran for 72 yards and threw for 29 more.
Manheim Central’s Garret Fittery and Cocalico’s Tyler Hertzog were all over the quarterback and running back. Fittery recorded a sack and three tackles for a loss. Hertzog answered with a pair of sacks and multiple hurries.
