Zamrin sets meet record in 3200-Meter

Cocalico senior Jamie Zamrin ran a blistering 10:51.76 in the 3200-meter run at the Lancaster-Lebanaon League Track and Field Championships held today at Hempfield High School. The time shattered a 15-year old record.

This was Zamrin’s first 3200-meter Lancaster-Lebanon League track title. She is a three-time cross country champion.

She came into the race seeded fourth. Last year she withdrew from the race with an injury and the year before she finished in third place.

Warwick’s Kate Dickow (10:56.02) came in second and Cedar Crest freshman Gwyneth Young (10:57.91) finished in third place.
