Ephrata to finals after walk-off win

Semifinals LL League Baseball Playoffs:

The Ephrata Mounts are heading to the LL League baseball finals for the first time since 2015. Our video highlight is the 2015 L-L League final which Ephrata won.

They do so after defeating the Warwick Warriors 4-3 in extra innings, thanks to a walk off bases loaded single by Nate Young in the bottom of the eighth.

Adam Schwartz who came on in relief in the 5th inning got the win, his fourth.

This was the 13th win in a row for the Mounts who are now 19-3 overall.

They will play the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers in the finals on Thursday, who defeated Cedar Crest 5-0 in a game suspended after 6 innings due to the storm.

Warwick finishes the season 13-8.

The last time these teams played back on April 18th, Warwick won the game in the 9 innings 9-8.

Mounts Head Coach Adrian Shelly mentioned that game, ” Oh no not again! But we stayed the course. And won tonight.”
