Warwick wins their first playoff game

In a seemingly endless driving rain, the Warwick Warrior football team has won its first playoff game. They did so by defeating Palmyra, 64-0, in the opening round of the District 3 Class 5A playoffs.

The Warriors (9-2) scored 50 points in the first half

Trey Glass scored two touchdowns in the first 4 minutes on passes from McCracken.

QB McCracken threw for 224 yards and threw four touchdowns.

Glass finished with five catches for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Nick Fucci finished with 120 offensive yards and three touchdowns.

It has been a difficult week for the Warwick community who has suffered through the loss of two Warwick students due to a car accident.

The chant throughout the week has been “Warwick Strong” and they certainly played that way tonight.
