Noah Palm Voted Top Player in PA.

Cocalico senior QB-DB Noah Palm has been named the 2019 Class 5A Player of the Year by the Pennsylvania Football Writers’.

The 6 foot, 200 pound senior stats are staggering on both sides of the ball: 1,014 passing (48/75) for 9TDs; 1,432 rushing, 36 total TDs (3 on returns). 92 tackles, 12 TFL, sack, 4 INTs, 5 PD, 4 FR, 5 FF, blocked FG. 32.7 avg. on 27 punts.

Palm, a New Hampshire University recruit also guided the Eagles to a District 3 title.

Palm was tagged as a defensive athlete, but 6-0, 200-pounder did a little of everything for Cocalico. He became just the ninth player in Lancaster-Lebanon League history to pass (1,014) and rush (1,627) for more than 1,000 yards in a single season.

Palm was among seven players from the L-L to be selected, including senior offensive linemen and teammate Brock Gingrich and Warwick junior Nolan Rucci.

He also earned Lancaster-Lebanon League Section Two Offensive Back of the Year, Defensive Back of the Year and Outstanding Back of the Year honors after becoming just the 10th player in league history to pass and rush for 1,000-plus yards in the same season.
