Olivia Matto, who was a star player at Manheim Township during her high school career showed up at Franklin and Marshall last night playing for the visiting Gettysburg Bullets.
The Bullets are currently in first place in the Centennial Conference and ranked 17th nationwide in D-3 play. They are now riding a 17 game winning streak.
A second-quarter drought by the Diplomats ultimately sunk Franklin & Marshall’s women’s basketball team 71-53.
The 5’9″ freshman Guard Olivia Matto chipped in 4 points in her 8 minutes of play.
The Diplomats fell to 6-12, 4-9 CC while the Bullets improved to 17-1, 13-0 CC.
Gettysburg’s Ashley Gehrin led all scorers with 21 points, also picking up 10 boards dor a double-double. Mackenzie Tinner tallied five blocks along with six points and five rebounds off the bench.
