Cedar Crest is going to the L-L Finals

The Cedar Crest Falcons are going back to the Lancaster Lebanon League finals.

After defeating Lampeter-Strasburg 48-43 in the semifinal round, the Falcons (21-3) will make their fifth appearance in the Lancaster-Lebanon League final in the last eight years. Cedar Crest captured back to back L-L championships in 2013-14 and 2014-15.

Senior Jason Eberhart, leading all scoring with 19 points said, “After two years of not making it to the finals, this was the game we had to win. And we did.”

Close games are no stranger to the Falcons who are used to winning them this season. They are 9-0 in games decided by six points or less.

They will play Warwick Friday evening at Manheim Township High School for the LL League Title.

Lampeter-Strasburg (16-8) will prepare for the District 3 playoffs which began next week.
