Down two players to injury, including their leading scoring threat Joey McKracken, the Warwick coached looked to sophomore Chase Krall to step up. And did he ever.
He drained seven 3-pointers to help the Warriors (19-4) defeat Lancaster Catholic 50-37 and head to their second L-L League title game in a row. They were also in the title games in 1987 and 1988 where they won the titles.
Krall led all scoring with 21 points. Trey Wells led Catholic with 10 points.
Catholic actually led this game half way into the third quarter but a Krall trey put the Warriors ahead 29-26 and they never looked back.
Warwick will now face Cedar Crest (21-3) at Manheim Township Friday in the championship game.
Lancaster Catholic (20-3) will prepare for the District 3 playoff that begins next week.
