Week 7: Cedar Crest beats Hempfield

Both teams came into this game with 2 wins and 2 losses in Section One.

But Cedar Crest prevailed on the road, thanks to the sterling offensive and defensive play of Aadyn Richards. In doing so they knocked Hempfield out of first place in Section One.

The dual-threat playmaker ran for 121 yards on 19 carries including a 10-yard TD run.

On the defensive end he participated in 19 tackles — including six solo hits — with seven stops for losses and a pair of sacks.

He also picked off a pass and returned the interception 38 yards for a TD.
