Associated Press: Former McCaskey High School basketball star Lamar Patterson has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference second team. He leads U of Pittsburgh Panthers in scoring (17.6 ppt) and assists (411) and ranks among the ACC in scoring (4th), assists (4th), field goal percentage (8th) and 3-point field goal percentage (4th). He has scored 30 or more points two times, 20 or more points eleven times, and reached double figure scoring in 29 of 31 contests. While at Pitt he has become only the third player in school history to score more than 1,000 points (1,341), grab 500 rebounds (559) and dish out 400 assists (411) in a career.
