Dutchmen win Section Four

The Annville-Cleona Dutchmen (11-6 L-L, 10-5 Sec.) defeated the Lancaster Mennonite Blazers today by the score of 11-2 at the Blazers’ home field. In doing so they have clinched the L-L League Section Four baseball title. Their first baseball title since 2005.

Jordan Gohn pitched 4-hit ball with 5 strike outs to get the win. Derrick Fallinger finished the 7th inning on the mound for the Little Dutchmen. Mitch Rodkey had two hits and an RBI,
Justin Ulrich and Colton Long also added two RBIs apiece for AC. The Blazers gave up 13 walks today.

The L-L League playoffs are scheduled to start Saturday at Ephrata War Memorial Field. Thunderstorms are expected so schedules could change. At the moment game times are 10 a.m., 1 p.m.,4 p.m., and 7 p.m. The Dutchmen will play Section Two runner-up Solanco at 10 a.m. If you would like a copy of this video email me at gmbmail@aol.com
