The game went into extra innings, with Upper Dublin scoring the winning run in the top of the eighth. This loss concludes Elizabethtown&#8217;s season and their three-game winning streak. Upper Dublin advances to the state championship game against Shaler Area. <\/p>\n<p>Upper Dublin&#8217;s win bumped their record up to 12-5-1. As for Elizabethtown, they moved to 16-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.<\/p>\n<p>Coming up, Upper Dublin will take on Shaler Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 2.3, the Titans 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
