For Warwick, Kate Shaak kept her team in it until the end, striking out 9 batters!<\/p>\n<p>Donegal will face Section 4 Champ Lancaster Catholic in the L-L \ud83e\udd4e Semifinals on Monday, May 11 (7pm at Ephrata\u2019s turf complex)<\/p>\n<p>Donegal extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to a 17-5 record. <\/p>\n<p>They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Warwick Warriors 5-3. That&#8217;s the second time they&#8217;ve managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-3 back in March.<\/p>\n<p>Jordin Meyers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it&#8217;s clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn&#8217;t tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n<p>On the hitting side, Nyah Gibbs was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she&#8217;s now hit at least one in each of the last three games she&#8217;s played. Lea Krow was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.<\/p>\n<p>As for Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
