When the last place team in the section defeats the team tied for first with less than a week left in regulation play, that’s officially an upset. And that’s what happened yesterday the Northern Lebanon defeated Lancaster Catholic 48-39 in NL’s home court.

To be honest the NL home court advantage has always been a real thing.

The good news for Catholic is that Octorara beat ELCO and Donegal lost Cocalico a 62-60 Tuesday night.

Only the top two teams in each section earn a playoff berth, so this weekend’s games should be interesting.
