Quarterfinal playoffs:

Warwick defeated Columbia 59-49 in the Boys Quarterfinal round of the LL League playoffs.

It was closer than the score might indicate.

There were 10 lead changes.

But when the Warwick went on a 7-0 run in the 3rd quarter they took a nine point lead and never looked back.

The Section Two champion Warriors (17-4) will now face Hempfield in Wednesday’s L-L semifinals game.

The Section Five champion Tide (19-3) move on to the District 3-3A tournament.

This was the largest margin loss for the Tide this season.
