PA#1 !! Congratulations to McCaskey girl runners Kamiah Wright, Milana Breuninger, Morgan Stauffer, and Isabella Shertzer for running the fastest 4x800m time in Pennsylvania State Track and Field Meet at John Gurski Stadium last week.

It has been quite a year for McCaskey track.

On April 9, the Red Tornado competed against out of L-L League Cumberland Valley, whose girls 1,600-meter relay team won the PIAA indoor championship in March.

Kamiah Wright, Lucy De Syon, Isabella Shertzer and Kamyah Wright ran 3:57.13 to win the race. That was the fastest in the state this season.

The same week they defeated the Warwick Warriors, the defending Lancaster-Lebanon League Section One champs, 92-58.

Milana Breuninger took care of both distance runs, Shertzer the 800 and Brayonna Walz the 100 hurdles. Field events were won by Kaymara Myers (shot put), Amyrah Kellam (javelin) and Lillian King (pole vault).
