Unless you’re new to the area or do not follow any high school sports you will not be surprised to learn that the Hempfield girls have won yet another L-L League volleyball championship.

They defeated Elizabethown 3-1 to capture their 21st girls’ volleyball title.

And 20th since the LL League started. They have now won 13 of the last 14 titles. And six in a row.

Hold on there’s more.

They have won 26 section titles and made 23 appearances in Lancaster-Lebanon League tournament finals.

They were led by Addison Leber’s 24 kills.

The Knights (16-1) and Bears (16-2) are both state ranked and poised to do damage in the upcoming District 3 playoffs.
