November 11, 2022:

It was a Lanc-Leb, Mid Penn showdown the District 3, Class 4A quarterfinals between the L-S Pioneers and Susquehanna Township.

The Pioneers have won 2 of the last 3 District 3, 4A titles and brought their second best defense in the LL League with them.

And did it show.

They win 52-6.

They held the opposition to 140 total yards. While piling up 428 yards for themselves.

They scored 7 TDs and added a 44-yard field goal by Peter Fiorello.

Carson Coleman scored 3 TDs for the Pioneers. That gave him over 1,000 yards rushing for the season.

Hunter Hildebrand scored 2. Their QB Trent Wagner, Dorian Smith and Dominic Brown added one each.

The Pioneers will play Manheim Central in the semifinals next Friday evening at Manheim Central H.S. The Barons defeated York Suburban 63-14 in their quarterfinal matchup.
