And redemption they received by winning 41-18.
Bishop McDevitt has a 160-30 record for the last 14 seasons under Head Coach Jeff Weachter. The only thing missing for him was a state title.

Their QB Stone Saunders hit Ty Russell on a 70-yard TD pass for a 7-0 lead. And before the game was over, he passed to Russell for 3 more TDs. Saunders also scored his 100th career TD pass.
He hit 10 of 16 passes for 167 yards with 5 thrown TDs in the game.
This is the Crusaders’ second state crown since 1995.
It was their sixth appearance in a state championship football game.
