Ephrata beats Warwick

The Warwick Warriors, who won the Class 6A state title last season, have dropped their first two games this season.

Ephrata defeated them Monday 10-4 at War Memorial Field.

The Mounts had a big first inning scoring five runs and they never looked back.

Trent Wolf allowed three runs, two earned, and struck out five. Burkey threw the last three frames, allowed an unearned run and struck out six.

Ephrata scored 10 runs on six hits. And they walked eight times. They love to run and stole 6 bases.
