McCaskey wins Track and Field title

The Lancaster-Lebanon League track and field championship is a two-day 18 field event.

The 2023 LL League Track and Field is a weekend event that was held at Hempfield High School
on Friday, May 12th at Hempfield, 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 13th at Hempfield, 10 a.m.

Warwick’s Ella Lucas wins Discus Gold with a 156′ throw. This was her third consecutive Discus Gold win in L-L League Championships. She won by 35 feet.

Hempfield’s Aiden Hodge He set a new LL League record time for the 1600 meter race with a 4:11.15 run.

Kamiah Wright takes handoff from her sister in 4x 800 relay.

Those two combined to sweep the 100, 200 and 400 and help McCaskey win the Lancaster-Lebanon League team title at Hempfield on Saturday. It was a three-peat for the Red Tornado.

McCaskey dominated on the track and finished with 140 points. Manheim Central was second with 87 points. Milana Breuninger (1,600) and Isabella Shertzer (800) took individual titles. The Red Tornado won all three relays.
