Here is the article we posted last season about LCHS amazing season:

The Lancaster Catholic Crusaders lost to Northwestern Lehigh 2-1 to finish as the runner up in an improbable playoff run.

This was their first trip to the PIAA state finals in boys soccer.

While they did not win their Section title, not the L-L League championship, they did finish as runner-up in the District 3, Class 2A finals

And now have the silver in the PIAA state finals.

Northwestern was the favorite coming in but Lancaster Catholic kept it close thanks to their goalkeeper Nathan Hummer.

Time and time again he made amazing blocked plays to prevent Lehigh from scoring. He gave Catholic a 77.78 save percentage.

Catholic’s lone score came from freshman Stephen Scott who drilled a pass from his brother senior Will Scott for a goal. It took Catholic 60 minutes to score.

Northwestern Lehigh scored 5 minutes later to give them what would be the winning point.
