The Cocalico Eagles have defeated the Manheim Central Barons 48-28.
It took two days to complete the game as the first half was played Friday.
With Cocalico leading 28-14 at the half Friday night, the rain and lightning came and play was halted until Saturday.
They proceeded to run the ball at will in the second half on Saturday and finish the game with a 48-28 blowout.
Cocalico scored 7 TDs and finished the game with 479 rushing yards.
Their running back Steffey ran the ball for 199 yards and three touchdowns.
Quarterback Josh Myer ran 119 yards scoring two TDs.
Aaryn Longecker ran 91 yards for 2 TDs.
The Barons’ running back Armold was held to just 59 yards on 18 carries. Last year he ran for over 2,000 yards.
Central quarterback Zac Hahn was 20-for-29 for 306 yards. Aaron Enterline caught 6 passes for 127 yards and Bode Sipel had 7 receptions for 112.
