Wednesday December 6th:

Lampeter Strasburg spoiled Hempfield’s opening game in their basketball season with a 65-53 win.

The Pioneers were down 12 at the break and Hempfield lead by 5 going into the fourth quarter.

But the Pioneers exploded for 28 points in the fourth to take the lead for good and grab the road win.

Chase Smucker had a game high 33 points for the Pioneers that included three 3-pointers.

Then Pioneers are now 2-1 on the new season.
