Wow what a game between Section One girl stalwarts Hempfield and Manheim Township.

At the half Township with a 6-0 record led 24 to 13. In the third quarter they took a 33-15 lead. It looked like the game was over and Township would have its 7th win.

The win puts Hempfield in first place.

Hempfield (2-0, 4-4) now sits alone atop the Section 1 heap. Township (1-1, 6-1), Cedar Crest (1-1, 6-3), Lebanon (1-1, 5-2) and McCaskey (1-1, 5-2) are in a jumbled tie for second.

Nevaeh Ramirez tied the game at 39-39. Then Brennan scored for a 41-39 lead.
