Columbia High School Senior Brie Droiege scored her 2,000th career point Thursday as Columbia defeated Linden Hall.
She is only the 9th player to reach that unbelievable rarified air of scoring 2,000 points in the Lancaster-Lebabon League.
Scoring is in her blood as well.
Her mother Marjorie (Rhoades) Droege, a 1997 Columbia graduate, holds the all-time scoring record for the league with 2,573 points when she played for the Columbia Tide as well. She was in the stands tonight to see her daughters play.
Brie’s twin sister Brook is nearing 1,500 points.
Columbia defeated Linden Hall 55-5. Brie lead all scoring with 17 points.
They lead Section 4 with a 9-0 record in the section and a 15-1 record overall.
