Bradyn Eckert tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

Penn Manor pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs per game. As for Warwick, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Penn Manor will head out on the road to challenge Hempfield at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Penn Manor: 3.5, Hempfield: 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
