April 12th: Manheim Central rallied late in the game to take Round 1 against Cocalico 4-3.

The Barons exploded for 3 runs in the 6th inning, capped off by Ky Watson’s RBI 1b! Trevor Lowe picked up the Win.

Trent Dickson threw 6 solid innings with 7 K’s, but was chased in the 6th. Nolan Book also blasted a solo home run for the Barons! Central has now won 3 straight Section 3 games.

Cocalico’s Brayden Burkholder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

On Manheim Central’s side, the team relied heavily on Brody Groff, who went 3-for-3 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Cocalico and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Manheim Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
