Hempfield defeated Waynesboro 12-5 in the District 3, Class 6A baseball quarterfinal game played at Hempfield.

Josh Toole contributed a walk, a home run and a single. Junior Brody Gebhard was the Black Knights’ winning pitcher throwing 87 pitches.

They will play Ephrata next Tuesday in the District 3, Class 6A championship game.
