The Manheim Central Barons have defeated the District 2 runner-up Holy Redeemer 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the PIAA volleyball state Class 2A championships.

The scores of each set were 25-11, 25-11 and 25-20.

The match was played at Liberty High School Saturday June 8th.

Their semifinal match will be against Exeter Tuesday at Cocalico High School at 7PM.

Exeter is the District 3, Class 2A winner.

The Barons recored is now 19-1.

Exeter and the Barons are ranked 1 and 2 in state rankings for Class 2A teams.
