Lancaster Catholic will play for the District 3, Class 2A championship title next Friday.

Why?

They were home and took advantage of that by defeating the Camp Hill Lions by a score of 27-20 on Friday.

The Crusaders pushed the score to 27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Camp Hill had strong showings from Drew Branstetter, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and Alex Long, who picked up 56 receiving yards. That’s the most rushing yards Branstetter has posted since back in August.

Lancaster Catholic has been performing well recently as they’ve won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Camp Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
