Friday Nov. 1st: The Elco Raiders football team has defeated the Octorara Braves 31-6 in the opening round of the District 3, Class 4A Championships.

They will play Lampeter-Strasburg Friday November 8th at L-S in the District quarterfinals matchup. L-S had a first round bye and has a 10-0 record. Elco has a 6-5 record. The PIONEERS defeated the Raiders 52-7 in week 8 in the L-L League Section 2.

Senior Mitchell Frederick was one of the leading players for Elco.

He rushed for 92 yards, scored 2 touchdowns and tackled 10 Braves in the game.
