Junior Gavin Courtney of Garden Spot has had an incredible bowling season.

He won the Lancaster Lebanon League Bowling Championship Title.

Hand he won the 2025 District 3 championship by throwing a Perfect Game.

Garden Spot’s Gavin Courtney sure found HiesterLanes to his liking during the 2025 PIAA District III boys bowling championships, helping the defending champ keep his title.

In fact, his day could not have gone much better as after leading the pack after preliminaries, Courtney rolled a perfect game in the semifinals to top Blayze Denny of Spring Grove 300-187 and followed with another fantastic score of 258 to defeat Daniel Boone’s Blake Jeitles 258-231 to win his second straight District III championship.

Courtney led the way after his preliminary five game score of 1,213. Bronze medalist Mason Moore was second in prelims with 1,180, but ran into a red-hot Jeitles, who took the other semifinal 225-159. Third after prelims, Jeitles topped Matthew Pomian of Cumberland Valley in the quarterfinals, 258-227.

Denny got past Conestoga Valley’s Josiah Casier 256-242 in the other quarterfinal .
