Warwick got strong efforts by the Offense & Defense in a 35-12 Win over Avon Grove.

The Warriors stormed out to a 28-0 lead at the half & held off a late rally by the Sun Devils.

Senior QB Thomas Myers threw 3 TD’s in the season opener, while RB Heath Schnipke found the end zone twice! DB Asher Willard hauled in 2 interceptions as Warwick earned Win #1 of the 2025 Season.

Section One winners included: Cedar Crest, Hempfield, Manheim Township and Wilson.

Section Two winners: Conestoga Valley, Ephrata, Governor Mifflin, Exeter and Muhlenberg.

Section Three winners: Manheim Central, Warwick, Conrad Weiser and Fleetwood.

Section Four winners: Lampeter-Strasburg, Northern Lebanon, Wyomissing, Twin Valley and Octorara.

Section Five winners: Annville-Cleona, Lancaster Catholic, and Pequea Valley.

Cocalico will play Elizabethtown Saturday morning.
