The Manheim Township Blue Streaks and the Cumberland Valley Eagles were in a close-knit game Friday night for the home opener at Manheim Township Stadium. Township was able to walk away with the 7-0 victory.

In the 2nd quarter Township’s Daryus Dixon caught a 36-yard pass from QB Jack Kenneff for the only score of the game.

The extra point came from Rowan Crispeno’s kick.

Manheim Township, coming off a 10-2 2024 campaign with a runner-up finish in the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1, looks to start off the 2025 season with a home win.

Cumberland Valley is looking to rebound from a 6-6 season last year.
