Garcia runs 310 Yards in Solanco win

Solanco had won eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-1 to make it nine. They breezed past the Conrad Weiser Scouts to the tune of 62-20. The result was nothing new for the Golden Mules, who have now won five matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Johnny Garcia was his usual excellent self, rushing for 319 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 19.9 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 13 rushing touchdowns on the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kris Burgos-Wise, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Solanco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 518 rushing yards. That’s the most rushing yards they’ve posted since back in October of 2024.

As for Conrad Weiser, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Solanco is ranked 89th).

Although Conrad Weiser took the loss, they still got scores from Joseph Deprince, Evan Erdman, and Kole Kupper.

Scoring:

Solanco: Burgos-Wise 2 TDs, Garcia 4 CDs, Erdman-Sapna TD, Miller TD, Bard TD, Koch Td

Conrad Weiser: Kupper Td, DePrince TD,
