District 3 Girls Golf playoffs:

Cedar Crest’s Bryn Brandt is only a freshman – a fact that likely fooled everyone at Honey Run Golf Club during the 2025 PIAA District III Class 3A girls golf championships.

Brandt lit up the course, starting with Thursday’s 1-under par 71 and finished strong with a 4-over 76 for a 147 and a District III 3A girls championship. Exeter Township’s Giulia Weisser and Warwick’s Piper Smith were right on Brandt’s tail during the five round, as both shot 6-over 150, only three strokes off.

Among those entering the final round with momentum was Bryn Brandt. After Thursday’s round, the Cedar Crest freshman held a three-stroke lead atop the leaderboard. Undeterred by nerves, Brandt birdied the opening hole and never relinquished control, going on to claim the District 3 AAA Girls Championship and qualify for the PIAA State Championships.
