Conestoga Valley beats Exeter 21-17

Conestoga Valley had won five straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to a 9-0 season record to make it six.

They secured a 21-17 victory over the Exeter Township Eagles. The 21-point effort marked the Buckskins’ lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn’t matter.

As for Exeter Township, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. They have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Exeter Township lost, don’t look at Leomar Brown. Despite the final result, he rushed for 305 yards and two scores while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Brown’s rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 122 rushing yards.
