Mennonite wins District 3 Quarterfinal

There’s no place like home for Lancaster Mennonite, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand West Shore Christian Academy a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Class 1A District 3 boys soccer match.

Lancaster Mennonite has been performing well recently as they’ve won five of their last six matchups. That’s provided a nice bump to their 14-4-2 record this season. As for West Shore Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-2.

Lancaster Mennonite will venture away from home to square off against York Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lancaster Mennonite’s defense better be ready for this one: York Catholic have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season. West Shore Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
