District 3 Class 5A Quarterfinals Football:

For the 2nd year in a row, Exeter ended Conestoga Valley’s undefeated season in the District 3 Playoffs! This year, #7 Exeter beat #2 CV in an exciting down to the wire finish… 41-34!

Conestoga Valley came into Friday’s game looking for another win against Exeter Township, but Leomar Brown wouldn’t allow it. The Eagles walked away with a 41-34 win over the Buckskins on Friday with plenty of help from Brown, who rushed for 220 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 122 rushing yards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Ware, who picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.

— #7 Exeter advanced to the 5A Semifinals for the 5th time in 7 years & will face #3 Bishop McDevitt next Friday, November 14!

The victory (which was Exeter Township’s third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. As for Conestoga Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
