McCaskey’s boys basketball team beat Hempfield in double overtime (OT) on January 9, 2026, with sophomore DeMere Salisbery scoring 41 points to lead the decisive 11-0 run in the second OT, securing a significant L-League Section One victory in a classic rivalry game.
