The Lancaster-Lebanon League League Boys Wrestling Championships began Friday January 23rd and the Donegal Indians placed six wrestlers in the semifinals to be played Saturday.
They were Zane Gardner (114), James White (133), Quinn Weymers (145), Landon Baughman (152), Brady Allessie (172) and Owen Winters (285).
Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel advanced at 133 with two tech falls, aiming for his fourth league title.
Ephrata’s Quincy Myer moved on at 172 after a 11-0 major decision, leading the tournament with four falls in 3:34.
Exeter advanced six wrestlers, including Corbin Strobel (107) and Tyler Harner (172).
Hempfield’s Gavin Rush (107) and Grayson Angelo (121) reached the semifinals.
Notable Matches:
Brinley Donmoyer (Manheim Central) secured a 6-5 victory over AJ Hondru at 172.
Klint Miller (Elco) pinned his opponent at 160.
Kyle Miller (Elco) earned a technical fall over Connor Troxell (Northern Lebanon) at 215.
