Township wins Girls Basketball Title

Manheim Township won the 2026 Lancaster-Lebanon League girls basketball championship, defeating Cedar Crest 35-31 on February 13, 2026, at Manheim Township High School.

This ended a 12 year L-L League girls basketball title draught for the Blue Streaks.

Led by key plays from sophomores and a strong defensive effort, the Blue Streaks secured the title on their home court, following a semifinal victory over Warwick. The place was packed and loud.

Leading Scorers: Sophomore Ciniya Robinson led the Streaks to victory, while Kaila Francis scored 12 points for Cedar Crest.

Key Contributors: Senior Toby Bergstrom recorded eight rebounds and provided critical leadership.

The team rallied during the postseason following an injury to senior captain Liv Parmer, who was the first to climb the ladder during the ceremonial cutting of the nets. Under head coach Devonne Pinkard, the Blue Streaks ended the league season with an overall record of 21-4.

Manheim Township has won 8 Lancaster-Lebanon (L-L) League girls basketball titles.
