In their first District 3 Semifinal for the Lady Eagles program in 24 years (2002) Cocalico lost to #2 Middletown 48-40.

Cocalico has already qualified for States, but a Win tonight would have given Cocalico the opportunity to play for a District 3 title for the first time since 1997, when they won their only District 3 Championship in program history.

#2 Middletown punched their ticket back to the Girls 5A District 3 Finals with a 48-40 Win over #6 Cocalico.

Emma Cleland (20pts) & Jayla Koser (20pts) combined for 40 of the Blue Raiders 48 points. {They both have 1,000 points in their Middletown Careers} Corinne Fair led Cocalico with 18pts (4-3’s) & Kira Lehman added 11.

Cocalico will play on Thursday, February 26 in the 5A Girls 3rd place game vs. #4 Susquehannock (which is a rematch of Cocalico’s Tip-Off Tournament Final back on December 6 when the Lady Eagles needed OT to Win 45-36).
