As the 2026 L-L League baseball season is about to start let us remember how well Lampeter Strasburg and Hempfield did last season.

And they have 80% of their team returning from last season.

Last season the Pioneers won the District 3, Class 3A Baseball Title and made it to the semifinals in the PIAA state 3A baseball playoffs before losing 2-0 to Shaler at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson.

Hempfield has been on fire for the last 2 seasons. Hempfield won a District Three Title State title in 2024 and win the LL League title last season . They won their first 22 games last year.

Hempfield kept their PERFECT season (21-0) alive, knocking off Ephrata 2-1 in the L-L League Baseball Championship Game! It’s Hempfield’s 1st League Championship since 2014 and their 10th overall.
