The Lampeter-Strasburg girls basketball team defeated Mount St. Joseph 60-26 and will move on to the Elite 8 in the PIAA Class 5A basketball playoffs.

The last time they made it this far in a state tournament was in 2009.

They are the only remaining L-L League team to still be playing in the state tournament.

Their record is nos 20-9 for the season.

They will play Crestwood Saturday March 14th in the quarterfinals.
