Mechanicsburg struggled to get much going at the plate in its District 3 Class 6A quarterfinal loss to Ephrata.

The Wildcats mustered up just three hits in their 2-1 loss on Monday.

Despite the loss, Grady Weaver had a strong day on the mound with nine strikeouts and allowed three hits. He also batted in the team’s only run.
