The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers successfully defended their championship by defeating Lower Dauphin 6-5 to win the PIAA District III Class 5A baseball title. For the second year in a row.

The Pioneers secured the win in dramatic fashion at Penn Medicine Park.

Key highlights from the championship victory include:The Winning Play: Centerfielder James Wall broke a tie in the top of the fifth inning with a solo home run, and later hit an RBI double in the sixth to secure the insurance run.Key Contributors: Cooper Hillen delivered three solid innings on the mound, while Devin Campos and Cooper Williams each contributed key hits to the Pioneers’ 11-hit performance.

Historical Significance: This marks the second year in a row the Pioneers have claimed the Class 5A district crown. It is their fourth district championship in program history.

The Pioneers record is now 17-4.
