Ephrata defeated Elco 46-38 to move into the LL League playoffs. They will play Manheim Central in the quarterfinals Saturday.

The Mountaineers (14-9) were 11-for-13 on the could line and that is essentially the tale fo the win.

Junior Jasmine Griffin drilled 27 points for Ephrata. She now has 986 career points.

Both teams were in win-and-advance mode Thursday; with the loss, Elco saw its season come to a close at 10-13 overall, as the Raiders will not make the District 3 Class 4A bracket.

Raiders’ senior Kailey Eckhart scored 17 points finishing her career with 964 points.
